The idea of making money by blogging is confusing for some people, after all, how do you make money while sitting in front of a computer all day? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bloggers who consistently publish quality content multiple times a week can make anywhere from $1,000 – $10,000 a year. That being said, how do you get started?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As mentioned, blogging takes hard work and dedication. It will take time to earn the big bucks. However, it’s not complicated to get started. It’s fairly simple to start blogging. First, you need a website to actually do your blogging on and, you need to know what you’re going to be blogging about. On WPBeginner’s early 2020 article, “Which Are the Most Popular Types of Blogs<\/strong>,” you’ll see that there are multiple types of blogs you can create. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now that you know what kind of blog you want, let’s get started on the actual blogging process. Once you set up your website, that’s when you’ll start. Focus on a single topic or theme. Have someone look over it<\/a>, to make sure it’s as good as can be. Be sure your blog sites are SEO or search engine optimization friendly. This means making sure you include popular yet related keywords, Keep your titles and descriptions clear and related to the topic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Getting the money to roll in is a different story. To earn money you need to promote yourself and gain a following. You can grow your following on any site like Twitter or Facebook. Brands and advertisers will see that you have a large following and will want to sponsor you. This means they give you money to review a product among other things. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To maintain a following you’ll have to reply to emails and comments to show you’re engaged. You can also make money by selling ads. This means you advertise your blog with Adsense or any of the numerous advertising agents out there. This will help create traffic to your website. Traffic is important – Very Important!!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, if you’ve ever thought about blogging but didn’t know where to start, you now know what to do to get beyond the novel idea. Of course, you won’t be making a million bucks your first day of blogging but it takes patience. As they say, slow and steady wins the race.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
